I finally got the new website done! I am really excited about this one! I have been afraid of learning WordPress for years because I thought it had to do with code and learning a bunch of super hard stuff. Annoyingly, it was a lot of work, but not as hard of work as I had expected. I should have learned this years ago! Dummy me!! I hope you like it!

New Logo

The new Paxton Photography Logo has been finalized. After many years of just not knowing what I wanted for a logo I decided that it is time to actually have one made. I chose 5 different vendors on Fiverr and set them loose with design guidelines. Not one of the 5 different vendors came close to what I asked for. I guess that is what I get for $5 . . . discouraged and admittedly thoroughly annoyed, I took design elements that I like and got down to creating on my own. Years of putting this off and it only took 2 hours to get what I liked. Another instance where I try to pay someone to do something and find that I should just do it myself. You would sure think I would know better by now! All in all, I am happy with my new branding.

New Print Folios

. . . . and what else would I stamp in the office but the new print folios! I’ve gotten back on the pretty papery and packaging kick. I figured that will all of this new branding and logos and cool stamps, I’d need some pretty product delivery resources to show everything off with. I just love the earth tones and natural fibers with the sparkly silver stamp! The main delivery box for proof books will follow suit, mirroring the shiny silver tones.

As well, I am stepping it up with the custom engraved disk box. Yes, I have an engraving machine in the family! If you need anything engraved (rings, gifts, etc.) give me a call and I can do that for you too!

Fun Logo Stamp

Yes, I am a total dork when it comes to new things! And yes, I have stamped everything in the office with the new stamp. I don’t know what it is about rubber stamps but I just can’t get enough of them! Maybe it’s because custom stamps make paper products look like a million bucks!
