Cydney and Tucker had a flawless Northern Michigan day for a wedding on the lawn of the family lake home in Leland.  They were blessed with absolutely stunning sunset skies and perfect summer temperatures to party with their friends, family, and great band, all night long.

Erica and Tony celebrated their union at Castle Farms in Charlevoix in Knights Castle and Courtyard.  Erica was escorted by both her father and step-father down the aisle and greeted by, not only a very anxious Tony, but a little local, at the altar.  A small mouse friend decided he’d like to interrupt the emotional tears with some literal, little comedy. And Erica being the champ she is, just laughed at the little guy running under her dress!  Epic!

Megan and Zach had a wonderful intimate evening wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix surrounded by their closest friends, family, and witnessed by their son.

Elizabeth and Jon had a wonderful day in Petoskey for a wedding.  Her coral colors against the blues and greens of a Lake Michigan backdrop were stunning.

Beautiful Sarah and handsome Dustin had a wonderful summer day for a wedding at the Hagerty Center in Traverse City.  We began the day at a beautiful rental cabin in Suttons Bay with amazing views of West Grand Traverse Bay.  We were even blessed with one of the better sunsets of the month!

I do need to take a moment to discuss both of Sarah’s father figures walking her down the aisle.  I am so happy to see that both of these men are able to support their daughter in a selfless manner.  As a step-parent myself, I always appreciate groups of parents and bonus parents that work together as a full unit.  Thank you, gentlemen, for being good Dads.

Taylor and Ryan are the winners of the #MilitaryWedding giveaway for 2017 at Castle Farms in Charlevoix.  If you’ve been following the story, you will understand the emotional first look between Taylor and her father (both of which are super cool humans).  The day was really wonderful.  Emotions, smiles, and just over-apparent joy was had by all. It was truly a privilege to be a part of this day.

Thank you to all of the vendors who gave back to people who stand for us all!  You are amazing, and generous, and I love you for that!

Leah and Sean had an amazing event at the family home on Torch Lake, surrounded by a super fun group of people who knew how to party.  All. Night. Long.  There were yard games, hanging out on the dock, specialty beers, tears at toasts, and western boots peeking out from under a wedding dress.  Seriously, a good day.  Both sets of parents were great to watch, too.  The emotions that came out of all of them in excitement of their children’s union, was wonderful to see.  The whole group just made me smile all day.

Tara and Tyler had a beautiful day for a summer evening wedding in Charlevoix.  We began our day with a first look at the lighthouse at the beach downtown and then went to Castle Farms for the wedding, joined by their most intimate friends and family.

Erica and Josh had a wonderful summer wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix.  The anticipation in Josh’s eyes was visible as Erica stepped out to walk down the aisle.  It was beautiful to watch him light up the closer she got and how the world appeared to melt away as she took his hand.

Chris and Paula had a wonderful Leelanau County wedding at the Homestead in Glen Arbor.  We had a glorious first look on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, a spectacular ceremony on top of the mountain overlooking that beach, and a party to beat all parties at Mountain Flowers Lodge.
