Haley and Eric were married in the Kings Chapel at Castle Farms in Charlevoix on a very blustery November day.  It’s so great to have a place like this where the entire event can be indoors and the guests can be totally comfortable, no matter the weather.  Both ladies and gentlemen in navy tones with her light blue accents, made for a lovely combination against the Castle’s stone walls.

Emily and Eli had a glorious early November day for a wedding in Glen Arbor at the Glen Lake Reformed Church and then a beautiful reception at the Glen Arbor Town Hall.  It isn’t often that we have 60 degree days this time of year and I should know, it was my birthday!  I won’t tell you for how many years this day has been my birthday, but it’s been plenty, and I was lucky enough this year to witness the love between two people be declared before God, the Church, and the beauty of Leelanau County.

Kelly and Alex had a beautiful day for a wedding at Camp Firefly at the Homestead in Glen Arbor.  The weather was perfect for our first look with their whole group.  It was a great family gathering!

What’s faster than a two year old?  A two year old on a bicycle!  Wyatt is growing so fast and is a very happy little guy.  After we dragged his attention from his bike, he really enjoyed watching the big tractor drive back and forth at the Commons.  The driver was even nice enough to wave back!

Stephanie and Michael had an intimate ceremony at the Old Settlers Park Chapel in Glen Arbor and had great fall colors for their day.  We made a stop at the Commons and then were off to a lovely reception at the Top of the Park at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City.

Katie and Justin had a wonderful fall wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix.  They had lovely mild temperatures and finally NO rain!

Katie’s tea length dress, with it’s drop-lace top and stunning waist detail, just might take the top of my list for favorites of all time!  It might even make it to my “someday” dress want list – – if only somebody made training heels for goofy types (aka me) that trip in flats.  Gosh, I’d love to rock out those beautiful shoes she had, too.  And look how cute the white Chuck’s look for after hours!

Sue and Jon were united with their families at Camp Firefly at the Homestead in Glen Arbor.  They had a glorious fall day; complete with their children, grand children, some golfing, a bonfire, and a lovely Lake Michigan sunset.

Allison and Ryan had a mild fall day for a wedding in Queens Courtyard at beautiful Castle Farms in Charlevoix.  Emotions ran high in anticipation of walking down the aisle, and as soon as Ryan saw his bride, the world melted away – tears flowed and smiles were easy to come by.

Michelle and Eddie had a lovely church wedding in Charlevoix filled with emotion.  From there, we were able to run around downtown and then move on to Castle Farms for the reception.  We had a wonderful mild Fall evening to go play in the night.  I love Fall days like this.

Oh, my dear rain, I’ve had quite enough of you!  Maicie and Ken’s wedding day was a wet one!  Despite the weather, Maicie chose to have the wedding outside (with the help of many umbrellas) at Castle Farms in Charlevoix.

We began the day with a first look along the shores of Lake Michigan under clam winds and heavy cloud cover.  From there we traveled to Castle Farms for a ceremony in Queens Courtyard.  I certainly had a case of soggy boots, but it was a beautiful wedding anyhow!
