Little miss Abigail is a month old now and made her first appearance as a sleepy little princess.  Her big brother, Blake, would not sleep for us when we did his baby photos so this is a big deal for Mom.  What a beautiful little thing!  I am so excited to watch her grow and join her big brother as one of my favorite little people!

Anderson is the sweetest, most smiley boy!  He loves his Mom and his Dad and the ceiling fan – I guess I haven’t taken enough time to sit and look at a ceiling fan, it is rather interesting, and Anderson really enjoys watching it.  He is curious.  He is interested in books, and blocks, his stuffed elephant, and the look on his face when he walks with his special cart is positively priceless.  He is a happy little boy.  He just melts my heart.

Anderson has been diagnosed with Hurler Syndrome.  With this syndrome, which has a 1 per 100,000 occurrence, he cannot make a type of enzyme that helps to break down specific sugar molecules throughout his little body; which causes issues with his joints, organs, and a handful of other things.  Right now he wears hearing aids, although he really doesn’t like Daddy putting them in.  He will begin a treatment process soon, that may consist of enzyme replacement and maybe even a bone marrow transplant.  This little guy and his parents have a long road ahead of them.  I so hope that they find the right doctor to make Anderson’s life long, happy, and prosperous!

Just look at that grin!

Miss Mary is the cutest little bug, but man did she give me a run for my money!  Two hours in and we finally got a smile.  What we learned is that she prefers to lay on her back and she really likes the feel of the fur blanket.  We had big plans for a Harry Potter theme, since her mom really digs those books, but we will have to wait until next time.  That should give me a few months to find some really cool props.

I was lucky enough to spend a morning with pretty little Maple and her old buddy the other day.  There were some kitties that hung out with us too, but cat’s don’t stick around to pose for photos all too well.

This little baber would NOT rest for our first try for her photos a few weeks ago.  And even now, at our second go, we only got about 10 minutes of sleepy girl.  Echo Nora is quite a bright-eyed, alert baby!  Either way, sleeping or wide awake, this little girl is a doll!

Hello there, beautiful!  Welcome to the world.  We are pleased to meet you!

Do you remember how amazing Christmas felt when you were a child?  The wonder.  The excitement.  The anticipation. My little pal Maximus is still new to the Christmas fun but I’m sure next year he will remember the feeling of getting all of his goodies!

It is one of my favorite times of year.  I admit that as an adult I still have some secret butterflies to see what is under the tree for me!  And I always find it so funny to see what the kid’s favorite gifts are.  This year the big geek-out hit wasn’t the giant box with the basketball hoop, or the video game; the big winners this year were the tin of Star Wars Pez guys and the big fuzzy blanket.  You just never know!

Little Callahan turned 6 months this week and we were able to do some of his photos outside.  Unheard of, it’s November!  Cal is an absolute doll, he is such a happy baby!

My little pal Blake is growing so quick!  His favorite thing seems to be his feet right now.  He was far more interested in his own toes than any silly sounds or mommy/daddy voices for most of his photos but we managed to get that cute little mug in at least a few photos!  Next time I get to see him, I’m sure he’ll be up and running – I can’t wait!

This little smiley babe is turning one this week!  Turns out she really didn’t like the feel of grass on her bare feet.  I’m sure she’ll get to test out beach sand soon, let’s see how that texture works for her!
