The DeWitt family has a great bunch of kids!  These five may give their mom a run for her money but the subtle sweetness among them all was quite a gift to see.

This year I have donated photo sittings to adopting or foster families in the greater North area.  The Thomas family is proud to announce that they have just legally adopted a wonderful young lady named Grace.  This family was wonderful to work with.  All of them with easy smiles, quick wit, and genuine enjoyment of each other.  Congratulations Grace!  You couldn’t have stepped into a better family!

Courtney and Josh had the perfect May day for a wedding in Leelanau county!  The sky was clear,  the temperature was mild, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and a gorgeous sunset rounded out the evening.  The perfect day itself, highlighted by Coutney’s classic beauty and Josh’s winning smile, was flawless.  I just love it when days come together like this!

Little Callahan turned 6 months this week and we were able to do some of his photos outside.  Unheard of, it’s November!  Cal is an absolute doll, he is such a happy baby!

Courtney and Josh braved the crisp early November weather to capture the last bit or fall color for the year.  Courtney and Josh will be married in Suttons Bay this coming May.  I can’t wait to work with these beautiful people for their big day! It is so wonderful to see people that just light up when they are together!

Keith and Mike have been together for 18 years and finally tied the knot in Vegas a few months ago.  Today, they included their closest family and friends in a second wedding ceremony in Leelanau county.  These great guys and their son, Henry, had a beautiful fall day for a wedding!

My little pal Wyatt is turning ONE!  This little dude was totally fine with the cool fall day we had and just kept on smiling.  His expressions just cracked me up!

Stay tuned for his “flying” adventure next week . . . .

I offered a few free pet sittings the other week and nobody took me up on it!  So my pal Melissa brought her fabulous family out to play.  We were graced with an above-average sunset!

My favorite thing about families with young children is the constant chaos!  It is constant motion and I think it amazingly awesome!  Kids don’t sit still, dogs don’t sit still.  And water?! Forget about it!! Somebody is going in! That is family reality!

A few years ago we did photos in this same location.  How is it that the kids can get so big and Kerri and Grover just don’t age?  At. All.  Such a fun family!
