Welcome to Michigan.  Welcome to MY Michigan.  Where the best summer evenings are a perfect 78°, the waters are still and blue, and the wispy clouds make the sunset glow best.  It was wonderful to share an evening and the view from Pierce Stocking #9 with some out of town guests.  It’s always my favorite moment to listen to the gasps as a newcomer crests the top of the dune and sees the expanse looking toward the island.  And then again when we get to the Glen Lakes view.  It makes me even more happy when it’s young people.  When the kids can take in the view and appreciate it for all it’s glory, that means it really is something special.
