Astana might just be my spirit child!  This chick is cool!  Super smart.  Super nice.  Up for anything.  And totally digs her sneakers!  We had a big plans for her senior photos with water and a sunset at Fountain Point Resort, a location she’s come to for vacation for bunch of her summers.  Michigan has a bit of a humor, though.  We went ahead on a rainy day and tried to get something for photos in hopes the sky would break at sunset and give us some color.  Sunset came, and passed, with no color – just grey.  So I packed up and said we would try again the next night.  I got 5 minutes down the road and a giant fuschia sky-fire decided to flare up.  Of course it did . . .  funny joke, Michigan!  We were able to do a “take two” the next night and we were gifted with the gentle lavenders and easy color of the post-sun glow that we all know and love so much on the Lake Leelanau shores.
