When you are young, it’s impossible to imagine exactly how impactful your sibling will be on your life.  Usually, they are just a bothersome annoyance you can’t wait to get rid of.  Then, as you age, you begin to see all the wonderful things they add.  The first time you become and Aunt or an Uncle, the first time you get to show them your children.  Your siblings are the only people in the world that truly understand the world in the way you do. 

And then there comes a point where you choose to go on vacation with not just them, but their spouse and kids, too.  AND THEN you find yourself dancing like a fool to make your child laugh for photos.  This is life.  This is a good life.  It makes me so happy to see families enjoying each other this way.
