Autumn & Erik | Wedding

Autumn and Erik chose to change their plans for the big wedding.  Like so many people this year, hard choices had to be made.  Originally they were going to have a big Castle Farms event at the end of October.  After a lot of thought, they chose to change their plans and take the adventurous route instead.  So they gathered their immediate family, their cute little dog-boy, and opted for a morning elopement at Castle Farms.  The day was perfect.  And then we headed out for the big adventure!

By the time we left the Castle Farms grounds and hit the road north, it was 2:30 in the afternoon.  We set our navigation North and headed over the bridge.  We got to Sugarloaf Mountain in Marquette with just enough time to hike to the top and enjoy a lovely late summer sunset overlooking all the beauty that is the Upper Peninsula.

Yup!  That was a long day!  But we weren’t done yet!  In the morning, we left Marquette and headed to Bond Falls for some mid-morning photos with the waterfall.  Such a gorgeous location!  We also stopped at the Bond Falls Flowage area and played in the water . . . in a dress and suit . . . So.  Much.  Fun!

Can I please have more fun adventures like this one?  Oh, and all that time on the road in the UP made us start looking for a camp to buy.  Goals were set – – 3 years and Tiffany and I will be buying a group family camp somewhere in the UP!  Yes please!!
