Rudy and Brandon will be married this coming fall.  Having local history in the Elk Rapids area they chose to do engagement photos downtown and at Rudy’s parent’s Rapid River home.  I’ve always been fascinated by that river when I cross Aarwood Road and see the beauty on both sides but had never seen the river close up.  It is, in fact, as great as I have dreamed; perfect movement, sandy bottom, and just deep enough to park a lawn chair in the middle of.  These are two people just like that river: gentle, lovely, and enjoyable.  They talked to me about the family heritage elements they want to incorporate into their wedding and I can’t wait!  It’s going to be a good time!
