Surprise proposals are one of my favoritest of favorite things.  The planning and waiting is so fun!  Jonathan picked the birch tree at the waterfront park in Petoskey for his surprise place.  We got there early and pretended to “tourist” in the grass.  We saw the two of them pulling and in right on time and the capture went exactly to plan.  Both of their families stood watch from the road platform above.  There were bubbly drinks and the biggest smiles on everyone.  Oh, and she said yes! That’s the most important part!
