I think one of my favorite things is when friends from the past bring their children for me to photograph.  Lily’s Mom and I were friends back in middle school and high school.  It’s been years since I’ve been able to have time with Denise and hear about her life.  She asked to have Lily’s senior photos done and I was super excited!  Here was a young lady with a brightness in her eyes that I recognized.  She moved like her mother.  Her facial expressions were so familiar.  But what was even more wonderful, was meeting this person that my friend made, and seeing her as her own self.  Lily is one of the young people that give me faith for our future.  I was so happy to have met her!
