Genetics surely is a fascinating thing.

I had the privilege of photographing Lily.  I knew her mother back when we were Lily’s age.  The amount of her mother I can see in her smile and eyes is just wonderful.  I hope she can appreciate how much of a gift that is.  She seemed to get the easy going personality and kindness that goes with that smile, too.  Which makes me happy.
