Maddy and Alex had a wonderful late-winter bluebird day for a wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix!  Despite the snow still on the ground, it wasn’t too cold and the rays from the sun were warming and magical.  These two chose to have a wedding that focused more on the marriage and not on the party.  They had breakfast as a meal, and all of their guests were able to spend time together!

Maddy is from Canada, where they do something I’d not seen before at at wedding.  The parents welcoming the new spouse into the family.  It was great to see both her and his sides of the family speak to why they accept and have grown to love their child’s new spouse.  It was really nice.  And as a musical group of people, they got all the guests to join in and sing a song to the couple.  It was just a fun and happy day!
