Seth’s Mom called about a month ago to set this whole thing in motion.  We made a plan for a huge surprise for Samantha.  Both her immediate family and his came from out of town and even out of state to participate in the surprise.  They all knew.  They’ve all known for months.  Seth had 5,000 rose petals delivered, with a personalized wine bottle and box with the sweetest words, for us to arrange in the wine caves of beautiful Mari Vineyards.  Callie from the winery was in on the surprise, too.  She was wonderful at curating the on-site experience.  We fooled them at their first glass of wine and then waited in the barrel room for Seth to come and drop to one knee.  Her first words?  YES, and then, “did you ask my Dad”? 

I wish the best to the future of these two!  I hope they have the most glorious wedding (I know Samantha will be stunning) and a lifetime of wedded bliss together!
