The plan: have the whole family together for vacation.  The secondary plan: tell Mom we are all meeting at the beach and surprise her with family photos.  Results: playing with rocks, getting toes wet, and enjoying the giggles out of the small people as the sun hits the water.  I call that a great gift for Mom!
