The Silers are a wonderfully fun little family.  And when your son’s girlfriend buys Mom a family sitting, she’s a keeper!

Sometimes I really get a kick out of the seniors coming up these days.  This one is equal parts his mother and his father; of whom I remember from high school myself.  It’s funny how depending on which way Nick’s smile is going, I can see each and both of his parents.  I too, am one that will never escape strangers knowing who I am due to family similarities, so we are all among good company.

Hallie will be graduating high school this year and going off into the land of adultness.  I have high hopes that she will have a wonderful future ahead of her!

Amy and Joe were married in Queens Courtyard at beautiful Castle Farms in Charlevoix on one of the warmest days of fall.  Who knew it would be 82+ degrees in late September?  Despite the heat, these two and their band of merry friends were super fun to spend the day with!

Natalia and Les are expecting twins this February.  They are getting the whole package in one go – they will be having a boy and a girl!  I am so excited to watch this family double in size!  And I think Daizi is going to be the sweetest guard dog ever!

Kelly and Alex had a beautiful day for a wedding at Camp Firefly at the Homestead in Glen Arbor.  The weather was perfect for our first look with their whole group.  It was a great family gathering!

Beautiful Gaby and handsome Nick were in town for his brother’s wedding (coming soon) and had recently gotten engaged.  So they opted to do some engagement photos while they were here.  They braved the 45 degree weather and took the walk up to Pierce Stocking’s #9 vista, that gave us views of the magnificent Lake Michigan as well as Big and Little Glen Lakes.  I had hoped to give them a glorious Michigan October sunset, but with all the rain we have had, we just got to enjoy the water view.  They’ll be having a Civil ceremony in Florida in December and then a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic next August.  Congratulations Gaby and Nick!

That color!  The Sanborn family had a glorious fall day in Leelanau County for family photos.

What a gorgeous family!  This little doll and her family were all smiles for a fun fall walk at the Commons in Traverse City.  And the dog . . . so that must be where Chewbacca’s character came from!

What’s faster than a two year old?  A two year old on a bicycle!  Wyatt is growing so fast and is a very happy little guy.  After we dragged his attention from his bike, he really enjoyed watching the big tractor drive back and forth at the Commons.  The driver was even nice enough to wave back!
