Twins are my favorite!  And these two little bugs were fantastic!  Their silly faces kinda stole the show!

The DeWitt family has a great bunch of kids!  These five may give their mom a run for her money but the subtle sweetness among them all was quite a gift to see.

This year I have donated photo sittings to adopting or foster families in the greater North area.  The Thomas family is proud to announce that they have just legally adopted a wonderful young lady named Grace.  This family was wonderful to work with.  All of them with easy smiles, quick wit, and genuine enjoyment of each other.  Congratulations Grace!  You couldn’t have stepped into a better family!

I was so happy to spend a few hours with my favorite little buddy, James, and his awesome Momma.  James has no idea of the changes that will come over the next few months.  As much as he is an adventurous, comical, sweet and caring, only child, he will soon be called “big brother.”  So we took some time to look at life with just James.  This kid absolutely cracks me up!  “Play” and “Nope” are his favorite two words.  I am so excited for #2 to join this household!

This beautiful family came in to town hoping for snow!  Who knew that we wouldn’t get snow until after Christmas!?  I hope Santa was good to these three little dolls!  They had some big personality for being such small people.

This smiley little guy was just a doll!  Such a happy boy!  His expressions cracked me up!   He wasn’t too interested in his cake, but sure loved his first set of keys!

We were able to grab the last little bit of fall color to round out Calvin’s senior photos and throw the family in before the weather gets wintery.  These boys!!  They make me laugh.  They are rough and tumble kind of young men, that like the outdoors; fishing, hunting and the sort.  It happened to be Amy and Danny’s 19th wedding anniversary this day too.  And I’m told that the boys were taking their parents out for an anniversary dinner.  Good boys!  Hearts of gold!

Ethan is one spunky little guy!  Being that his favorite word is NO, it takes a little time to get some smiles out of him.  But when he smiles, you had better be ready because he is likely to be in motion!

I offered a few free pet sittings the other week and nobody took me up on it!  So my pal Melissa brought her fabulous family out to play.  We were graced with an above-average sunset!

My favorite thing about families with young children is the constant chaos!  It is constant motion and I think it amazingly awesome!  Kids don’t sit still, dogs don’t sit still.  And water?! Forget about it!! Somebody is going in! That is family reality!

Oh, brother!!  Yup, four boys!  This wonderful family has not only 4 boys, but two giant beastly babies, too.  I was so impressed with these young men.  They were so appropriately kind, playful, open, easy, generously gentle with the dogs, and respectful with their parents.  My hope just may be restored in the next generation!
