Tracy and Josh were married at the beautiful Botanic Gardens Historic Barns Park in Traverse City in an early morning ceremony.  Their closest friends and family stood witness and then joined them at their home for a lawn party reception.

Laura and Drew were married at the top of the vines at Black Star Farms winery in Suttons Bay.  It was a perfect day for an event among the vines. The love between these two shines so bright.  They are such wonderful people; it was a great honor to be a part of their day!

This lovely young lady will be graduating high school this coming year.  We had a fun evening cruising the county to a few great locations.  And this sunset!  Evenings like this remind me why I love to call this place home!

Man!  I wish I could have been this cool when I was graduating high school!  Like, cool as a cucumber cool.  With swagger.  Plays guitar, sails boats, runs cross country, a total rocker chick with a desire to be an astrophysicist (I had to spell check that by the way).  Oh, and just an easy person to hang out with for a few hours.  Go far in this world, sista, dream big and go far!

Kaylee will be graduating high school this coming year.  We had a fun day wandering around the Elk Rapids area.  Those sunflowers were beyond compare!  Here is another young lady that gives me hope for our future with her happy personality and quick smile!

Kelly and Shaun had an absolutely glorious day for a wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix.  We began the day with a first look between bride and groom, resulting in the biggest grin on Shaun’s face when he turned to see his beautiful bride.  After the ceremony, we toured the grounds and made friends with Norm the dragon.  Well . . . we had a little fun with Norm, anyhow.  Finaling out the night, we challenged a few friends with sparkler letters – – that is always entertaining after they have a few cocktails.

Oh my goodness!  This family!  Everybody came together for a vacation up north with the most precious little doll.  This may be the happiest child I have seen in a while.  The entire time was nothing but smiles and giggles!

These two lovely ladies shared their vows in the vines of Shady Lane Cellars among their closest family and friends.  The ceremony was read in both English and French and Bene’s family joined us all the way from her homeland of France.  Their wedding party joined us for a champagne toast up the road at L.Mawby and we took a quick trip to Suttons Bay Ciders.  The joy among these two was so fun to witness!

The Wyatt family all came together as a family at their summer home in Northport.  There are three little people in this growing group, two of whom know how to steal the show! These cousins may be ones to watch as they grow up; cousins are always your first best friends.

Shane will be graduating high school this coming year.  He runs cross country, enjoys spending time at the family lake house, and it’s pretty apparent that he loves his dog.  Here is a fine example of a young person who will go far in the world and make good things happen for his future!
