What’s better than a pretty young lady, a beach, a killer sunset, oh, and a horse?  How about . . . not one thing!  This sitting was so much fun!  I could have stayed for hours longer but when the sun is gone, it’s gone.  Baille was joined by her Mom (a.k.a. the horse wrangler) and her Grandma and Grandpa (a.k.a. the horse chauffeur) for her senior photos at beautiful Empire beach.  Did you know you can ride a horse on the beach in Empire?  Me neither.  But we asked the local people in charge and it is a thing.

Man!  I wish I could have been this cool when I was graduating high school!  Like, cool as a cucumber cool.  With swagger.  Plays guitar, sails boats, runs cross country, a total rocker chick with a desire to be an astrophysicist (I had to spell check that by the way).  Oh, and just an easy person to hang out with for a few hours.  Go far in this world, sista, dream big and go far!

Grandma bought a cute dress and nice shirt for these two fun kids to have photos on the beach with their parents.  For the age gap between the two children, they were wonderful together!  Total hams!!

Summer vacation at The Homestead means toes in the sand!  This wonderful family had the resort beach to themselves for an evening on their summer vacation.  The water was still a little chilly, but it sure feels good anyway!

Paula and Chris might just be the happiest couple I have ever met!  These two have an ease between them that is contagious!  I can’t wait for their Homestead wedding next year!

Fei and Hui were up for even more photo fun a few days after their wedding.  We tried for sunset at Pierce Stocking drive in Leelanau county, but there was a storm coming across the water from Wisconsin.  We didn’t have much color, but we did have some pretty evening clouds over the water.  Despite the lack of sunset color, it was still a beautiful night at the dunes!

Jen and Tim had a lovely indoor wedding ceremony at the Perry Hotel in Petoskey.  They had great weather for the end of April and were graced by one of Michigan’s finest sunsets.  These two were so easy to smile in each other’s company, you could just feel their happy connection.
