I bet you thought this post would be about a family.  Well . . . sorta.  But to me it’s about a tree.  You see that tree right there?  The one in Steve’s back yard, with the entire family on it?  That tree.  I’ve known that tree for more than 20 years.  Over twenty years ago, that tree got to witness love blossom between friends of mine.  And then watch the other siblings find their loves.  And then witness all these beautiful children come into the world.  This tree can tell a huge chunk of the Deters’ family history.  The good, the bad, the monumental, and the mundane.  It makes my heart full to see all those happy little faces of youth spending time and creating more lifelong memories of happiness in that tree.
