It’s Michigan, which means you never know what mood you are going to get from Mother Nature!  We started on the porch at the family cabin on Crystal lake, but it was a little too small for the whole family.  Then we moved to the beach, which was crazy winds and super bright sun.  We decided to try the forest behind the house, which was perfect.  Despite the forest being perfect, we had discussed Point Betsie lighthouse and chose to close out the day there.  It was above par gorgeous that night!  Gale force winds and huge waves breaking over the wall; but seriously beyond beautiful in the powerful display.  I’m really glad we chose to go and the kids got to see the lake like that.
