She said YES!  Wes recruited his brother and sister-in-law to help execute this surprise engagement.  He made plans to take the boat from his parents’ home, to dinner in Leland.  Little did Megan know that I was hiding in the bushes about half way there.  He got to the right spot and stopped to “show her some of his favorite boats” at the marina and got down on one knee (as much as one can) in the tiny green boat that meant so much to him through his life on the lake.  Some wonderful people kept me company as I sat in their waterfront yard and waited.  They were also the cheering party.  It was a beautiful night and I am so happy it all went according to plan!
