Kimberly & Derek were married at the Sequanota Club in Charlevoix, MI on a lovely, sunny May day, surrounded by their closest friends and family. They designed their own custom wedding bands, had hand-made paper flowers, and a beautiful vista that perfectly matched their style. This simple and easy event was officiated by Derek’s father and Kim’s hair and make-up was done by one of her bridesmaids.
Jodi, Todd, and their daughters were the willing participants in the Castle Farms Not So Real Wedding event. Jodi and Todd are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this month and after hearing the stories about their real wedding years ago, they deserved this fantastic event! They were so great to work with and be around! Days like this with lovely people like these, affirm my faith in long-lasting unions and make me proud to do my job.
This event was a bridal show alternative that showcased some of the best Preferred Service Providers from Castle Farms’ PSP list. It showcased a vow renewal ceremony, delicious dinner, and dance party reception. Guests were able to have a full-sensory Castle Farms wedding experience; seeing, tasting, and hearing the wedding vendors in action!

This Momma is my sister’s best pal from school. I have personally watched this family grow from wedding, to first born, to a family of 4. I see so much of Crystal in Isabella’s face, it kinda cracks me up! And Zeke is becoming quite the handsome little fella, too. I am blessed to watch these kids grow, even if it is from afar.
Sally and Chad (and the pupster too) are planning a Leelanau county wedding in July of this year. We took some time to explore the beach and a few locations close to the wedding venue. It was a glorious early May day!
These fine young gents and their folks were a blast! We made swords out of cattails, got muddy, and had high hopes for froggin. Mom is a seasoned pro (a.k.a. saint) with these boys; lets them get muddy and run though the fields and just watches them smile and enjoy each other.

Their Momma, Cate, is a go-get-em leader that is heading up the project to bring a local Pets for Vets chapter to Traverse City. Ethan may have been having a minor case of the “I’m three and just don’t want to play with you,” but we still managed to capture a few smiles!! Such patient parents! They were absolute pros!
This little smiley babe is turning one this week! Turns out she really didn’t like the feel of grass on her bare feet. I’m sure she’ll get to test out beach sand soon, let’s see how that texture works for her!
