Would you guess that this is a January day in Northern Michigan?  Where did the snow go?  It may look like an unseasonably warm winter day, but it was not.  It was 100% winter temperatures.  We had a big January thaw the week before and of course, the week after we got bunches more snow.

From the light rains of spring, to bright sunlit summer-drenched beaches, through the early-darkening of fall, and on to the crispness of winter; this year has been beyond spectacular!  Thank you, to each and every one of you who supports me and makes all of my days at work absolutely enjoyable.

Can you believe I almost forgot my little buddy, Maximus? How cute is this guy in his Christmas jammies!!

This lovely family and their two handsome boys were so much fun!  These little guys had the best personalities.  I love it when the small humans make my day easy.  Don’t you just want to squeeze those cheeks on that littlest goonie?!

This beautiful little doll and her family are enjoying her first Christmas this year!  I hope Santa brought her lots of toys to keep that bright smile this big all year long!

One of my favorite families did it again! These boys!!  It is so much fun to see these boys grow up.  Last year, James wanted nothing to do with photos for Christmas.  This year, he was totally willing to play with his mom’s funny ideas.  Grady; not so much.  And I have to say that this is my favorite Christmas card I have EVER created!

This family!  Oh my goodness!  These little gentlemen have such manners!  The minute they popped out of the car, they each came up and introduced themselves to me and shook my hand, while looking me in the eye.  They were engaging with directions, appropriately playful, and really got along well together.  What a fun time!

I can not believe how big these two are getting!  Abigail has the most intense gaze and the biggest smiles once you get her going.  And Blake!  Seriously, this kid!  I asked him to show me his friends.  So he brought me out Mickey, then Minnie, the another Mickey, and another, and a Michael Jackson Mickey.  Apparently he has many friends.  It makes it easy when you have so many friends, when they all have the same name!

I had the exciting privilege of covering the indoor kids racing for my friend’s son.  I was really surprised to find it absolutely enjoyable.  Among the 70+ kids ranging in ages of 5-14, there were no issues and no tears between kids or parents.  All of the parents worked together to help fix cars and make sure everybody had what they needed to race.  And to see these little people – – yes! as young as 5 years old! racing! was the coolest thing EVER!  At an intermission, all of the racers lined up for autograph time.  It was super cute to see these little people signing autographs like a huge stars.  And I think the funniest part of the day was that the littlest ones can hardly write their name but can navigate a track like pros!

The other cool thing about the day was watching the kids make friends!  Do you remember how you could just strike up a friendship with no questions or cares when you were a kid?  It’s so much harder as an adult!  I watched 2 kids who had never met, yet raced against each other on the track, pal up like they’d know each other their entire lives.

Oh, and this is likely the coolest place I have ever seen my business name!  On the hood, too!  Rumor has it, I get to have the hood to hang in my garage!

Look at how big Liam is getting!!  I’m not sure how this little guy is two already!  He is a very happy boy; he likes his books and to explore and play with whatever he finds.
